GARDNER RIFLE CLUB RIFLE/PISTOL SHOOT RULES
 
GENERAL RULES APPLY TO ALL SHOOTING
1.   Shooting starts at 7:00 AM, and ends at 4:00 PM.  Nothing shot after 4:00PM will be scored!
      Payout approximiately 4:30PM.
2.   Target are $6.00 each, $1.00 to club, $5.00 to pay out.  3rd gets $5.00 single entry fee,
      2nd gets 40%, and 1st gets 60%.
3.   Seven minutes maximum to shoot your five rounds, or your target will be disqualified.
4.   Sand bags are bipods allowed front and rear, no gun vises.
5.   Scoring is done by counting down, if your bullet hole breaks into the black of the lower numbered ring
      that score is the lower of the two numbers.
6.   All classes are scored with five shots per target.  If your target has five separate targets on it,
      there needs to be one bullet hole in each target, if two are in the same target, one will be a zero and
      the higher of the two counted.  If you shoot six shots in a target, the target will be
      disqualified. Return shot targets to be score
d, targets must be unaltered or target will be disqualified.
7.   Clean up after yourself!
 
RIFLE VARMINT CLASS (CENTERFIRE)
 
1.  Smaller than .245" bullet diameter/caliber.
2.  12X  scope maximum or scope turned down to 12X maximum.
3.  Maximum .704" barrel diameter at the smallest point. (Approximately a dime.)
4.  Less than 10 pounds total weight.
5.  5 shots at 100 yards.
DEER RIFLE CLASS (CENTERFIRE)
1.  Larger than .265" bullet diameter/caliber.
2.  12X scope maximum or scope turned down to 12X maximum.
3.  Maximum .704" barrel diameter at the smallest point. (Approximately a dime.)
4.  Less than 10 pounds total weight. 
5.  5 shots at 100 yards.
RIFLE OPEN CLASS SMALL BORE (CENTERFIRE)
1.  Smaller than .265" bullet diameter/caliber.
2.  Over 10 pounds, and/or over .704" barrel diameter at the smallest point. (Approximately a dime.)
3.  5 shots at 100 yards.
RIFLE OPEN CLASS LARGE BORE (CENTERFIRE)
1. Larger than .265" bullet diameter/caliber.
2.  Over 10 pounds, and over/or .704" barrel diameter at the smallest point.  (Approximately a dime.)
3.  5 shots at 100 yards.
RIFLE OPEN SIGHTS (CENTERFIRE)
1.  Any caliber.
2.  No barrel diameter limitation.
3.  Peep sights are allowed.
4.  5 shots100 yards.
RIFLE OFFHAND (CENTERFIRE)
1.  Any caliber.
2.  No barrel diameter limitation.
3.  Open sights or scoped.
4.  5 shots at 100 yards.
PISTOL CLASSES
1.  5 shots at 15 Yards.
2.  All free hand, no resting or leaning.
3.  Separate class for centerfire and .22 rimfire.
RIFLE CLASS (.22 RIMFIRE)
1.  5 shots at 25 Yards.
2.  Seperate class for scoped and open sights, peep sights are ruled as open sights.
RIFLE CLASS (.17 RIM/FIRE/CENTERFIRE)
1.  5 shots 50 Yards.
2.  Scoped.

USA CLAYS SOUTHERN DOOR Trap League
Due to wet conditions we will NOT meet the week of Saturday, March 25th-31st, 2023
.


Fees includes a 1 year membership, all range fees and ammunition for the full 7 weeks and targets.
Ear and Eye protection is required and we do have it available for use!
We also have firearms available for your use.

Fees for the 2023 season USA CLAYS Southern Door Trap League will be $195.00.
USA CLAYS/SDTL will shoot 7 weeks (1 practice week and 6 league weeks) with 50 rounds per week.
Checks made payable to: GARDNER RIFLE CLUB
Payment must be made the first day of the season.

No one will be allowed to participate if fees are not paid.
We will start at 8a.m sharp!
