ROUND 1 PULL
The Door County Youth Trap League (DCYTL) wrapped up its 11th season with a new venue and format. Our new format of shooting strictly at the Gardner Rifle Club was a success as well as the new shooting schedule which offered shooting Saturday or Monday or both.  We felt this was better to accommodate our shooters/students busy spring schedule.  Our fee remained the same as prior years due to the overwhelming support of the Gardner Rifle Club.  Funds for new guns and vests were donated by Gardner Rifle Club, Whitetails Unlimited and Dirk Resler.  Mr. Resler also donated shells and graciously paid for the state shooters shirts.  The Gardner Rifle Club extended their support to the top ten shooters by sponsoring the State registration fees. Shells were also donated by Jandrin Refrigeration, Greystone Castle and Gardner Rifle Club.

ROUND 2 PULL
The season finale was a Lewis Buddy Back Up Shoot. Top honors for Buddy Back Up went to Braden Delveaux and his buddy Justin Clark with 49 out of 50.  Landon Blasier and popular buddy Justin Clark followed up with 48 out of 50.  Everyone enjoyed food graciously provided by Fish Farm & Game, Econo Foods, Marchants, and Coach Beth Jeurink. The “Les Meyer Perpetual Youth High Gun” trophy was earned by Jacob Fritschler with the highest average in our eleventh season of 23.33. Jacob was also recognized as the recipient of the longest run trophy 49 straight.  Through the generosity of the Tom Austad Family in memory of his dedications to youth and trap shooting, Aiden Deuchert is this years scholarship recipient.  Paige Penovich was awarded a new scholarship sponsored by Jan Resler of Potawatomi Kennels.
